It shocked everyone when Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill split up. Following the breakup of Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, it was one of the biggest offseason surprises of the year. The Grim Reaper has had success alongside the Cheetah. But with him gone, the Chiefs acted quickly and found a replacement. Additionally, it is yielding positive results.
The Chiefs broke into the news after they moved Tyreek Hill to Miami. But they took good care of the offensive side and have made some additions. The franchise brought in Marquez Valdes-Scantling from the Green Bay Packers. In just a little time, Mahomes and MVS have acclimated to each other. They could be the next big thing in the offense.

Patrick Mahomes and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are the unusual forces to be worried about, and Pete Sweeney says so. The KC Chiefs’ lead writer was watching the team’s OTAs and gave details about the chemistry of M&M. Sweeney tweets about their comfort zones with each other and then throws and snags the passes in sync.
Pete Tweets, “I’ve been raving, and I will continue to rave: No new [Chiefs] pass-catcher looks more comfortable with Mahomes than WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling. The new QB-WR duo is so in sync. MVS is as smooth a receiver as I remember. The two combined for Thursday’s play of the day.”
In team, Mahomes looked to his right and threw a no-look pass across his body to his left to Valdes-Scantling, who caught the ball with his single left hand along the left sideline. MVS joked after that he is used to no-look passes from his time with Aaron Rodgers (2018-21).

Sweeney also discussed Valdes-Scantling’s performance on the last day of voluntary practice in depth. He grabs the ball with his single left arm along the left side of the court after Mahomes’ no-look throw. Even though OTAs are too soon to say, but Valdes-Scantling and Mahomes have natural chemistry.

Patrick Mahomes expresses a clear opinion on MVS
