Patrick Mahomes Pal Travis Kelce Believes He is Heavily Underpaid Because of Tyreek Hill: “$30 Million A Year”

The pro-Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce is famous for his spectacular performance as a pro-Bowler. While giving an interview with Vanity Fair, Travis Kelce shared his discontent with not addressing his worth. Whereas the pro receiver Tyreek Hill signed a $120 million contract extension with Miami following Super Bowl LIV. The distress was visible in Travis’s words. The statement caught enough attention on social media.

The interview was a chance for Travis Kelce to show all the enthusiasm he feels being part of a team. Probably, Travis Kelce wasn’t one of them to show disagreement with the pay slips. But it took a turn when he shared his content in front of the world.

In the interview with Vanity Fair, he shared, “When I saw Tyreek go and get 30 [million] a year, in the back of my head, I was like, man, that’s two to three times what I’m making right now.”  This statement gets back to the time when Tyreek Hill joined Dolphins and signed off a $120 million deal.

This is true to some extent as Tyreek is one of the top performers in the team. He won various Super Bowl Champion Awards” in the year 2020 and 2023. His worth still stands at $14.3 million.

“You see how much more money you could be making and, yeah, it hits you in the gut a little bit. It makes you think you’re being taken advantage of,” he added.

Despite this discussion, Travis always amazes his fans with his love for Football and how much he cherishes his time in the playground. In the same interview, he shared, “I don’t know if I really pressed the gas If I would get what I’m quote-unquote worth. But I know I enjoy coming to that building every single day.”

In the interview, he also addressed how his managers mock him for getting underpaid, “My managers and agents love to tell me how underpaid I am”.
