Patrick Mahomes is again on the lookout for a Super Bowl season. The Kansas City Chiefs have proceeded to the Divisional Round of the playoffs after defeating the Ben Roethlisberger-led Pittsburgh Steelers by 42-21. The Chiefs will now be playing the deadly Buffalo Bills next week.

The Bills, during their Wild Card game, absolutely destroyed the New England Patriots by 47-17. It proved to be the Bill Belichick playoff defeat for the head coach Bill Belichick in over two decades. The Bills are looking mighty as ever, and so are the Chiefs. The Chiefs also demolished the Steelers with a big margin.

The Chiefs, although had a slow start, once they picked up the momentum, there was no stopping them. The Mahomes-led offense scored five back-to-back touchdowns in a span of 10 minutes and 30 seconds over the course of the second and third quarters. And as the Chiefs prepare to host the Bills in the Arrowhead Stadium, it is going to be a task for them to hold Josh Allen.

Patrick Mahomes on meeting Buffalo Bills in Divisional Round

During the post-game press conference quarterback, Patrick Mahomes was asked as to what he thinks of his next opponents. The quarterback replied that they are going to be a challenge for them. The two sides met in the AFC Championship game last year. But this time, only one of them will be proceeding to the Championship game.

“Yeah, I mean you expect a really good football team that’s gonna play really hard,” Mahomes said. “We’re expecting a fight we’re expecting a battle. They have a great offense great defense great special team. And we played in the AFC Championship game last year. We know that it’s gonna be another fight for us if we want to try to move on to the AFC Championship game this year.”
