After connecting with Van Jefferson in the end zone, the new Rams quarterback put together an eight-play, 98-yard scoring pass. Mayfield and the Rams shattered the Raiders’ playoff hopes after falling to 5-8.

That, however, did not occur, and Mayfield wound up in Los Angeles. According to 49erswebzone, 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan claimed to be a great admirer of the quarterback, but they could not make it a reality to bring him to California. He mentioned, “We’ll look into everything, but I feel pretty good with where we’re at right now.”
