Patrick Mahomes Issues Cold Statement Towards Rihanna and Spills on HC Andy Reid’s Threats About Watching Her Halftime Performance

Patrick Mahomes and the  Kansas City Chiefs went on to win the Super Bowl in a tremendous fashion. The Chiefs lifted their second Lombardi Trophy in Mahomes’ reign. Furthermore, despite a lot of controversies involving refereeing, the Chiefs are undisputed winners. Furthermore, the architect of this victory is getting his well-deserved praise and recognition. Mahomes has been getting his due in terms of adoration from fans as well as added recognition from the media.

Furthermore, the quarterback went on to have a lively conversation with Jimmy Kimmel on his show. The talk show host and Mahomes spoke about a lot of things including the intense atmosphere among the team. Additionally, he also had a cold statement toward Rihanna.

While in retrospect, it seems funny but Mahomes and all of his teammates were not allowed to witness the halftime show. In fact, they were forbidden from it. While in conversation with the talk show host, Mahomes mentioned that his head coach, Andy Reid had threatened the whole locker room against going. Mahomes informed the host about this threat and said, “ Coach Reid told us he said if you go out to watch the performance keep walking because you’re not playing the rest of the game.”

Reid is known to maintain a tight ship and it was the tightest during the Super Bowl. While the whole crowd enjoyed being serenaded by Rihanna, Mahomes stood in fear of being benched in the locker room. Interestingly, Mahomes himself got some cheeky revenge for missing Rihanna’s story. He had a cold message for the pop star regarding baby names.

While Mahomes might have missed one performance by Rihanna, he has chosen to foreclose a baby name forever from the pop star. The quarterback has reportedly straight up refused to share his son’s baby name with Rihanna, via the Jimmy Kimmel show. The host mentioned that Rihanna could name her baby after Mahomes.

Mahomes had a cheeky reply and said, “my name is taken by my son Patrick Lavon Mahomes III. So I don’t know if that name is still allowed. So yes you have to think of another one she could go with.” Obviously, the quarterback meant this as a joke but it seems like Rihanna and Kimmel have a concrete answer from the QB.

With all said and done, Mahomes has gone down in history as a brilliant quarterback and a two-time Super Bowl winner. The craziest part is that Mahomes is not done. It only remains to be seen what wonders the Chiefs quarterback will bring to his team and to the league.
