Patrick Mahomes might leave his city soon. His Kansas City house hit the market just a month ago! The ranch-style residence, built in 1953, had an asking price of $2.9 million. Interestingly, the house was purchased by the 2X MVP just a year prior to his first Lombardy victory. According to reports, renovations totaling nearly $400k were carried out on the property.

In another intriguing update, it has come to light that Mahomes has recently finished building yet another house, located 20 miles away from Kansas City. With his KC house up for sale, this new development prompts the question of whether the 2x MVP is contemplating a departure from Kansas City. And if so, what is his next landing spot?

After clinching his first Super Bowl victory, the Chiefs‘ star quarterback wasted no time in purchasing an 8-acre plot of land in Belton, just 20 miles away from Kansas City, for a mere $400K. Fast forward nearly three years and another Lombardy trophy later, Mahomes has finally completed his new house, which can easily rival his $3.9 million Texas home.

Similar to his residence in North Texas, Mahomes’ newly built Belton house boasts its very own golf course. This Par 3 course sits harmoniously amidst a private pond and a charming fountain. Not stopping there, the property also features a sprawling custom football field complete with a soccer goalpost, catering to the QB’s sporting needs.

The Belton residence could serve as the 2x MVP’s alternate home away from home during the offseason. But does this mean he’s going to leave his beloved city of fountains? Fans need not worry! After all, the QB still has a condo in Kansas City that serves as his family’s main residence.

2x MVP’s staggering real estate portfolio

While Mahomes still retains the $375k condo he purchased in Kansas City back in 2017, he briefly put the house on the market in 2019. This two-bedroom, three-bathroom condo falls short of half a million dollars in value and may become the sole remaining property in Kansas City if his ranch-style house sells as expected.

Moving on to Mahomes’ luxurious Texas residence, which he acquired in 2020 from the late NFL player Andrew Gissinger, it truly stands out. Originally listed for a staggering $4.26 million, the 2x MVP managed to secure it for $3.37 million. This home serves as his offseason retreat, given his Texas roots. As of now, there are no indications if Mahomes has decided to leave Kansas City and reside in his new home. As time passes, it will be intriguing to see whether he will hold on to his Kansas City condo or elevate his standards by acquiring a lavish property near his home ground.
