During the Wednesday media scrum, Patrick Mahomes spoke about the upcoming Week 13 game against the Bengals. A reporter told Mahomes how WR Tyler Boyd has a rivalry similar to Brady and Manning. The Grim Reaper marked respect for the Bengals’ quarterback but denied having such a rivalry.
Patrick Mahomes mentioned, “I have a ton of respect for Joe [Burrow]. I mean, he’s a great football player, but he’s a competitor, like you said. I mean, those are the guys that went into this league; they are guys that compete, and so… I hate to compare to Brady and Manning because they won so much and put up so many stats. Patrick Mahomes may avenge the defeat they faced in the 2021–22 AFC playoffs. But it may look difficult as the Bengals would have a prominent star returning.
