There’s a new Texan quarterback who’s taken the world of football by storm. High school sensation Quinn Ewers, a five-star recruit has drawn close attentions of fans and analysts due to his similarities to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
The quarterback for Southlake Carroll High School recently drew everyone’s attention when in several national level camps threw dimes and hail marys like it was nobody’s business.
Blessed with a rocket arm and and the ability to make plays out of thin air, Ewers committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes for the 2022 season. But his recent decision has shocked the world.

Deciding to forego his senior year of high school, the quarterback will be enrolling early to start of his career as a Buckeye from this season. A decision which has garnered some polarizing opinions.
But one man is well averse with the expectations of being an up-and-coming quarterback from Texas. And that man is none other than Patrick Mahomes.
Patrick Mahomes has nothin but good wishes for Quinn Ewers
Patrick Mahomes like Quinn Ewers too is a Texas native. The quarterback played for Whitehouse High School before going on to become a star for Texas Tech.
While Mahomes has now made his mark in the NFL, Ewers is taking baby steps towards replicating the same dream. And for his fellow Texan, Mahomes had nothing but good wishes.

Quoting Ewers’ tweet announcing his decision, the Chiefs wished a bright future for the young star and possibly an NFL showdown in the years to come.
Mahomes has been doing his bit too to help Ewers realize his dreams. The two QBs were seen practicing together a few weeks back as both prepare for a long season of football ahead.
