Patrick Mahomes talks about making mistakes during the Broncos game
During the post-game interview, Mahomes was very critical of himself, as he talked about making dumb decisions in the game. “It was just two dumb decisions by me. I mean, we were doing the same stuff all game. When you let a good defense get momentum, they can make plays happen and they made some plays happen,” Mahomes said after the game.
Then, he spoke about his teammates helping him greatly. “I put us in some bad positions all throughout the game at the end of the half and at the end of the game. The defense came back and stepped up for us. Guys around me stepped up to get us to score some points,” Mahomes further added.
Despite being critical of his performance, the Chiefs’ QB talked about the importance of other teammates stepping up at the right time. According to him, everybody needs to have each other’s back and perform at a certain level, which will help them to win the Super Bowl.
