Patrick Mahomes has been inspirational for the Kansas City Chiefs ever since he came into the lineup in 2017. With each passing year, he has matured into a formidable threat in the NFL. The QB inspired the Chiefs to clinch their seventh straight AFC West title with a win against the Houston Texans on Sunday. But the jittery manner of the win has an ex-Super Bowl champion worried.

Ex-Pittsburgh Steelers Safety Ryan Clark heaped praise on the Chiefs quarterback. And he also asked Mahomes to carry the team this season, although he has Travis Kelce to get help from.

“He has the best tight end in ball in [Travis Kelce] but Patrick has to fight like hell!” Clark said.

The Texans made the Chiefs work hard to earn the win on Sunday. The Chiefs trailed for most of the game before forcing an OT where they won on the first drive. And Mahomes was the conductor of the orchestra that is the Chiefs.
