Allen and Mahomes have remained in top gear since the season kicked off. Both teams are now 4-1, and would look to increase the opponent’s losing count. Despite having a classic rivalry, both quarterbacks have a healthy respect and appreciate each other’s craft.
On Wednesday, Josh Allen poured honor upon the Chiefs QB. He mentioned, “[Patrick Mahomes’] a fantastic player. He can do everything you want. His teammates love him and I know he’s got a good grasp on the locker room over there — how he carries himself, the things he does off the field for his charity. He’s a special football player and a special guy and anytime he’s playing I think people are watching.”
Patrick Mahomes has the same feelings for the Bills QB. As per CBS Sports, he said, “Josh (Allen) is a great guy. He’s a great quarterback. Physically talented, he can throw, can run, he can really do it all. But he’s a great dude, too.”
Allen is 1-3 against Mahomes. He would look to add a number to the tally. However, the Grim Reaper has delivered some fantastic performances as well. It will be a must-see duel.

Kansas City had the No. 27 overall pick in the 2017 Draft. They moved up to No. 10 by trading three selections to Buffalo and selecting Patrick Mahomes. It set a benchmark and established a new legacy for the Chiefs. The franchise reached the Super Bowl twice and won one of them, all under Mahomes. Safe to say, the franchise has remained fruitful.
