College football is in full swing right now. And the former Red Raiders and forever follower, Patrick Mahomes, expressed the joyous win of Texas Tech against the Longhorns. The Red Raiders won by a score of 37-34 in overtime. Although Bijan Robinson, the running back of Texas, played phenomenally, his only fumble of the season awarded Texas Tech a field goal. To celebrate the glorious victory, the Kansas City Chiefs QB took to Twitter to show his support for his favorite college football team.

Along with the four-time Pro Bowler, fans of Patrick Mahomes and Texas Tech reacted and celebrated the win. The Red Raiders played aggressively in the fourth downs, which helped the team. Donovan Smith, the Tech’s QB, completed 38 of his 56 passes for 331 yards and two touchdowns. Smith took over as the starting QB of the team after Tyler Shough got injured at the start of the season. Since then, he played exceptionally well and with no mistakes.

With the Big 12 being so well matched, Texas Tech is now a team to watch thanks to the victory. Prior to hosting West Virginia and Baylor, the Red Raiders will play games at Kansas State and Oklahoma State.

Patrick Mahomes against the Los Angeles Chargers

The Kansas City Chiefs won against the Los Angeles Chargers with a score of 27-24. They won the first divisional game of the year. The Mahomes’ and Herbert’s packs engaged in a consuming game.

Although the game was rough, Patrick Mahomes‘ team is 2-0 at the start of the season. Mahomes with 235 yards and 2 passing touchdowns, the leading QB was wobbly.

Mahomes, though, wasn’t without flaws. The 27-year-old made a couple of dubious throws, including two on one drive that Asante Samuel Jr. could have been able to intercept. The Chiefs were able to score a field goal on the drive after the second one seemed to be the pick-six Watson ultimately secured. All in all, it was a classic.
