Along with the four-time Pro Bowler, fans of Patrick Mahomes and Texas Tech reacted and celebrated the win. The Red Raiders played aggressively in the fourth downs, which helped the team. Donovan Smith, the Tech’s QB, completed 38 of his 56 passes for 331 yards and two touchdowns. Smith took over as the starting QB of the team after Tyler Shough got injured at the start of the season. Since then, he played exceptionally well and with no mistakes.

Although the game was rough, Patrick Mahomes‘ team is 2-0 at the start of the season. Mahomes with 235 yards and 2 passing touchdowns, the leading QB was wobbly.
Mahomes, though, wasn’t without flaws. The 27-year-old made a couple of dubious throws, including two on one drive that Asante Samuel Jr. could have been able to intercept. The Chiefs were able to score a field goal on the drive after the second one seemed to be the pick-six Watson ultimately secured. All in all, it was a classic.
