He has one of the strongest arms, and his workouts aren’t similar to those of other quarterbacks. Mahomes revealed the different types of workouts that he does in order to prepare for the season. He also opened up about his dietary habits, which are quite important in an athlete’s life.

Patrick Mahomes spoke to Men’s Journal and talked about his workout. He said, “Shoulder care is definitely something I’m doing more than I used to. My trainer, Bobby Stroupe, takes me through a routine where my shoulder is in awkward positions while gaining strength. I throw from so many awkward positions on the field, so it’s an important part of my routine.”

Patrick Mahomes also revealed that he likes to work on his mobility. He mentioned that he likes to work on the mobility of his joints, hip flexor, and legs. The Chiefs quarterback believes that it helps him to get the best out of his body on the field. He also revealed that he works on his arms and legs on alternate days in the gym.

To be a great player in the NFL, you have to work on multiple things. The players have to take care of their bodies through workouts and eating habits that help them to stay in shape throughout the year.

Patrick Mahomes also has a very disciplined dietary habit. Talking about the diet he takes, Mahomes said, “I’ve gotten much better with my nutrition as of late. It’s something you have to take care of when you get to the NFL to stay in the best shape possible. It’s so important.”

Mahomes also revealed that he eats four to five meals a day. He revealed that he eats his breakfast, then has his lunch. Surprisingly, he breaks down his dinner into three small meals. It is because he doesn’t want to overeat at a single time.
