In his recent episode, McAfee shared some insider details about the upcoming season. Firstly, he dismissed any rumors about a potential quarterback appearing in the next season, as it’s kept secret as of now. So, just because a crew follows an athlete doesn’t mean they’re filming for the docu-series. He also mentioned how teams were unaware of the first season’s filming, and only a few higher-ups knew about it, adding more secrecy in the air.
One of the show’s co-hosts pointed out that people might now assume certain athletes are filmed for the documentary due to the first season’s success. To this, McAfee clarified that Manning’s presence in Green Bay last year had nothing to do with the show, addressing the rumors about Aaron Rodgers‘ appearance in season 1. Moreover, McAfee disclosed that several quarterbacks in the league declined to be part of the upcoming season for various reasons.
