Is Aaron Rodgers staying or moving?
Pat McAfee recently did an interview with a journalist from SiriusXM. The topic of their discussion was, of course, the future of Aaron Rodgers. McAfee and Rodgers are close. The color commentator of WWE SmackDown had some answers for the fans.
The journals asked McAfee, when would that be? Pat replies, “He said it would be sooner than later, before free agency. So if he was to go and move somewhere, like if he was gonna come on the show and be like, ‘I’m gonna demand a trade.’ I don’t know how that goes over well at all.”
Pat McAfee continues, “I’ve actually thought, and I’ve actually told him like, ‘Hey, don’t feel obligated to do it on my show, because if you come on my show and say I’m demanding a trade’ — Those type of views aren’t necessarily good for advertising. I mean, hate views don’t really sell things, but like that is something that makes me think like I feel like he’s staying.”
McAfee claims that Rodgers always answers his calls
The journalist then proceeded to ask Pat, when will he summon Aaron Rodgers on his show? Will he text McAfee like today’s the day? How will it all happen? McAfee answered, “I don’t know.” He adds, “After the loss, I had no idea if he’d come on Tuesday. I knew he would come on to wrap up because he has never, by the way, not answered the bell.”
