The season of the Kansas City Chiefs has come to an end. They lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime. The game was very close. But the coin toss gave Kansas some hope. And it also brought back some pretty unpleasant memories for the Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen. Patrick Mahomes won the toss, but ironically the Chiefs fell to the Bengals.

This was the second Chiefs game in a row to go to overtime. Last week against the Bills, Mahomes and company triumphed over Josh Allen and his team. Allen and the Bills seeing the Chiefs win the toss seemed to develop PTSD, as tweeted by Bills’ linebacker Andre Smith.
Kansas City Chiefs’ overtime win against the Buffalo Bills
The Chiefs were pretty motivated while stepping into the playoffs. Kansas easily defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger’s last game as a quarterback ended with a dominating Chiefs win.
Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs advanced to the division round. There they met the Buffalo Bills. Both the sides put up impressive performances. The Bills were leading, but in the dying seconds of the fourth quarter, Mahomes saved the game. He made a drive and put the Chiefs in field goal territory. After scoring on the 48-yard attempt, the score was 36-36.
The matchup went to overtime. Patrick Mahomes won the toss and put his team on the offense first. Kansas won the game after reaching the end zone. The division round matchup ended with a score of 42-36. Chiefs advanced to the conference championship game. The fate of this game was also decided over overtime.

The AFC championship game was played between the Chiefs and the Bengals. Both sides managed to tie the game and go to overtime. Patrick Mahomes won the coin toss again. The Bills QB Josh Allen was watching the game and just as Mahomes won the toss, he sent out a tweet. One word defined Allen’s feelings properly. The Bills QB wrote, “Pain”.

This game, however, was not the repeat of the Bills matchup. The Bengals made the touchdown and won the game. Cincinnati is on its way to the Super Bowl.
