The 31-year-old receiver sustained a core injury during his Week 12 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. And it looked as if he was wrapped up for the season. But the wideout knows how to pull off a phenomenal return.

The receiver was re-signed by the franchise on special demands of the Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Cobb since has started each game for the team up until his injury. He finished his season totaling 28 receptions for 375 yards scoring five touchdowns with an average of 13.4 yards per reception.
His similar late returns have proved beneficial for the Packers in the past. During his 2013 season finale, he recorded two touchdowns along with pulling off a dramatic end to the game to top the NFC North. He also made a late playoff return in 2016 when he totaled for three touchdowns and 116 receiving yards against the Giants.

Furthermore, his presence is going to be vital for Rodgers. Since the 31-year-old has been a trusted target for the quarterback on multiple occasions. “He trusts me, he knows who I am, he knows what I’m capable of and he believes in me. And that’s all I need,” Cobb said of Rodgers. “I try to prove him right every chance I get.”
Randall Cobb, who is coming back from core muscle surgery, deflected any praise for a remarkably quick return.

Cobb has been a true leader for the team on and off the pitch. One can also see a glance of that leadership during his recent press conference after being activated from the injured reserve. Cobb was praised for making a quick recovery from an expected season-ending injury. However, he deflected that praise and highlighted the people who really deserve it.
