Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb did recently reveal Aaron Rodgers to be the reason behind his never-ending confidence. The wideout was really in awe of his impact with the franchise after it made Rodgers push for his comeback. The Packers WR did get drafted to the team following their Super Bowl-winning campaign in 2010. He was part of the Green Bay roster from 2011 to the 2018 season who fell short every year to go deep in the postseason.

Cobb always did deem himself to be the reason that they never went further. Following Cobb signing with the Cowboys in 2019, the Packers did reach the NFC Championship game, losing to the 49ers. Small self-doubt about his abilities did envelope the player at that moment of time.

But his Packers QB Aaron Rodgers did have a different point of view of his impact in Green Bay. The reigning league MVP did demand the Green Bay front office to bring back Cobb for this season. The faith of the veteran QB in him only made Cobb believe he is on course for a storybook ending.

A true sign of an impact player like Cobb in the NFL depends on how much the QB Aaron Rodgers values him. The reigning Super Bowl champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers did recruit TE Rob Gronkowski at QB Tom Brady‘s request. Rodgers will be hoping for a similar or greater impact from WR Randall Cobb during the key moments. He will be looking for Cobb in various phases of the game to ease up pressure on WR Davante Adams.
