In a recent clip uploaded by NFL, former Packers quarterback Brett Favre predicted Aaron Rodgers’ destiny without Davante Adams. Favre was at a putting green when he answered the question. He believed Rodgers would make the young Packers athletes better.
Favre mentioned, “The same way I felt. You just go on. It is what it is. You know, the transition for me from Sterling to the next receiver, — People may disagree that was harder than Aaron because he is more established… Newcomers, or first or second-year guys. He’ll make them better. He’ll make them productive as he always has.”
Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre in a rivalry?
Despite belonging to the same roster, Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre had a slight back and forth. Rodgers was Favre’s backup for three years after being selected in the first round of the 2005 NFL draft. At that time, the Packers were reportedly hunting for Favre’s replacement. It was a heavy burden to ingest for Brett that the franchise essentially planned his substitute.
Brett Favre was among the top athletes. It drew some visible frustrations. The general belief was that the starting quarterback would help guide up-and-coming young players. However, Favre objected, raising the possibility that he was upset with Aaron Rodgers.

He claimed that his contract was only an obligation to play. He might learn something from watching him. No provision demanded him to train his replacement.

However, it would be correct to conclude that both entities have gotten past the opponent. Despite the ‘power struggle,’ Aaron values Brett greatly. Since then, the couple’s relationship has grown stronger.
