Aaron Rodgers is the biggest talk of the town in the NFL these days. It looks like there is some new development about the Packers’ quarterback’s future. Towards the end of the regular season, Rodgers has said that he will be entertaining offers this offseason. It indicates that the QB would go somewhere else to win over retiring at Green Bay.

The Packers GM Brian Gutekunst has refused to make any changes with the team’s backup quarterback. For the moment, Jordan Love is safe and sound as a member of Green Bay. It indicates a step towards Rodgers moving out.

The Green Bay Packers selected the 23-year-old quarterback in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. Before becoming a pro, Love played college football at Utah State. 

In his sophomore year in 2018, the young quarterback started all 13 of his games. He completed 267 passes of his 417 attempts for 3,567 yards. The California native scored 32 touchdowns. This was his best season in college.

After being selected as the 26th overall pick by the Packers, the team made him their third quarterback. He signed a four-year rookie deal with the franchise. They believed Love had a lot to learn and wasn’t ready to take on the vital role yet. Aaron Rodgers was already leading the chard at Wisconsin.

The quarterback made his debut in the 2021 season. He has played a total of six games with the Packers till now. Love has a record of 62 attempts from which he completed 36 for 411 yards. The Packers’ number 10 has made 2 touchdowns and has a passer rating of 68.7. 

Brian Gutekunst hints to Aaron Rodgers leaving

The Packers general manager will not entertain any offers for Jordan Love. The reporters were asking Brian Gutekunst if he would be interested in trading Love away? He told the reporters, “I would be very doubtful that I’d take very many of those calls.”
