Outspoken NFL Legend Drops Bomb on Odell Beckham Jr; Doesn’t Recognize His Greatness Despite a Super Bowl Win

The outspoken Super Bowl Winner Warren Sapp doesn’t hold back from throwing shade. In 2018, he criticized Odell Beckham Jr. by saying that he isn’t great. However, Sapp believes that there is something greater in Odell’s life now. Moreover, it will change the WR as a person. Even after his Super Bowl win in the last season, Warren isn’t satisfied and sticks to his words.

He believes that having a new child will change OBJ as a man, and if that doesn’t change him, nothing will. Sapp is adamant about the change in the athlete’s life and strongly feels that it will change his performance.

The NFL legend made a statement on the Rams’ WR saying, “When I saw his old lady was pregnant with a baby, I said this was gonna change that. Odell Beckham Jr. Now has something greater than Odell Beckham Jr. If a child doesn’t make you realize that, nothing will.”

Further, Warren is excited to witness what OBJ can bring to the table in the NFL 2022 season. He expects Odell to outperform himself compared to the previous season. It seems that even winning a Super Bowl is not enough to convince the veteran defender of how great you are as a player.

What makes Warren Sapp feel that Odell Beckham Jr. is not a skilled performer?

In the interview with the 2002 Super Bowl-winning champion; the reporters asked him about Odell Beckham Jr. joining the Las Angeles Rams and his playoff run to the Super bowl until he got hurt. Expressing his feelings on the same, Sapp said that even after this performance, people’s narrative about him has not changed at all.

To sum up, OBJ’s Super Bowl feat is not enough to convince the NFL legend of his greatness. With the 2022 season approaching closer, Sapp is eager to see a change in his performance after having a new child in OBJ’s life.
