The San Francisco 49ers saved a spot for themselves in the playoffs and completed their 10-game winning streak. They dominated the Arizona Cardinals in a 38-13 regular-season finale game. Understandably, the fans were ecstatic when they saw their men in red and gold do such an impressive job. Some were so excited that when the lead QB, Brock Purdy, made his way into the tunnel, fans literally started falling for him. 

Yes, the 23-year-old has brought an immense amount of success to the team, but he also caused a great fall when he threw his towel in the direction of some ardent fans.

It’s a known fact a fan will risk their life just to catch an object flung by his favorite player in their direction. So, while the scene looked quite painful, fans of the NFL could not stop themselves from laughing and reacting heartily.

Now that the team has clinched the second seed in the NFC playoffs, they will prepare to face their rivals, Seattle Seahawks. It will be a Wild Card round. Fans favor San Francisco and expect them to defeat the Seahawks.

The 49ers winning streak is credited to the 2022 Mr. Irrelevant because he took the reins from Jimmy G. Since then, the third-string QB has only improved their score. He has made five starts, winning each one. During those games, the 49ers have averaged an NFL-best 33.6 points per game. Despite his outstanding performance, he does not underestimate Seattle and believes that they can fight back.
