Interestingly, this message comes at an opportune time, as Brittany’s family has recently been embroiled in controversy, particularly involving her brother-in-law Jackson Mahomes, whose situation has escalated in the past month.

On February 25 of this year, Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, was accused of allegedly assaulting the restaurant owner and a waiter. Aspen Vaughn (40), the owner of the Overland Park Restaurant in KC, filed a police complaint against the Tik-Tok star. Then, nearly three months later, on May 3, the 23-year-old was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of battery related to the incident.

He pleaded not guilty to these charges but was released the following day from a Johnson County, Kansas, jail after posting a $100,000 bond. A preliminary hearing that was initially scheduled for the last week of August has now been postponed until October 24 due to the presiding judge contracting COVID-19.
