The quarterbacks market has had a whirlwind of updates this year. Since the offseason, there have been some crazy movements and contract settlements. Daniel Jones was a major highlight, as he stood for a gargantuan wish. The New York Giants went all in for the quarterback and locked in a deal to keep him in The Empire State. Jones is ready to pick up a hefty amount each day.

Every NFL franchise acknowledges the importance of a capable quarterback. But the cost to keep them in the franchise is splurging. One example is the Deshaun Watson contract, which made a reset that opened the way for other QBs to maintain extensive demands. Daniel Jones utilized the chance and sealed his opportunity.

With a four-year, $160 million contract with the Giants, Daniel Jones would amass $126,027 per day, per ML Football. With an average annual salary of $40 million, such a massive payday comes with $82 million fully guaranteed. It has a $36 million signing bonus, the 2023 and 2024 salaries, and the same year’s workout bonuses.

The buzz around Daniel Jones seeking a boisterous contract was an extensive one. Some fans failed to understand Jones’ extensive demand. But he eventually sealed the deal with a Giant settlement. The Cleveland Browns’ fully guaranteed contract for Deshaun Watson opened opportunities for a vast transaction.
