The Senior Bowl MVP Daniel Jones hadn’t really discovered his proper position in the NFL. After four seasons and having known what position he is, the man is now standing in the blinding lights of fame. The New York Giants have given him the chance to be their elite quarterback after he was picked 6th overall in the NFL draft 2019. Years before this deal the team had also made decisions about Beckham Jr. too.

At first, the quarterback was known for tripping over his own feet, making many question his abilities. But after his tremendous improvements since last season, he’s now considered a dangerous force on-field. Interestingly, he started with a hefty $160 million but now is getting a bonus of $8 million due to hard work. Will we witness an even better performance from him?

Recently, on Monday, the New York Giants made a huge change in Daniel Jones’ contract. For unknown reasons, the Giants created a salary cap space of $6.315 million. The team has converted $8.42 million of Jones’ deal into a signing bonus. Previously, the North Carolina-born signed a 4 year $160 million deal with the Giants.

A full-time contractor for BroBible, Dov Kleiman tweeted on his X about the situation. He explained that according to the Giants, they’ve created $6.315 million in cap space. The man also tagged FieldYates in the post citing his source of information. The news is no secret to anyone now, and along with that, the expectation bar has also increased.

He captioned on his X account, “Report: #Giants have restructured QB Daniel Jones’ contract by converting $8.42 million of his base salary into a signing bonus, via @FieldYates.” The Independence Bowl MVP is all set to perform this year, this vast amount might be a big motivation for him.

Daniel Jones is worthy of the motivational move!

Even though it’s a win-win situation for both the parties involved in the contract, there is no hard and fast rule that Jones has to agree to. It’s totally his call whether or not to sign up for this bonus. It’s speculated that he most probably will agree to the proposal.

No person in this world doesn’t want 8$ million. The defensive end, Leonard Williams, has the most significant salary cap out of all the players who are not quarterbacks and the Quick Lane Bowl MVP, Jones stands proudly on the second seat after Williams. Considering his initial extension in the last season and career highs, there is no doubt that Jones is worthy of this motivational move from his team.
