The Dallas Cowboys’ offseason was extreme losses and zero gains. Jerry Jones and the franchise got some load off the roster. However, all of them were elite-level weapons. It led to millions of questions regarding why would the franchise get rid of them? Eventually, the franchise fills the void with new draft picks, but the concern remains.
During the Speak for Yourself show, Emmanuel Acho lays out his concerns on Dallas’ current roster, comparing it to the one they had before.
He mentions, “I came to the conclusion that unfortunately, they have last year going into the season. We all said the Cowboys had the best or one of the best offenses in football. Let’s go back a year if we can. Prescott was coming off of an injury, so you knew he was going to be back ready to go.”
“Ezekiel Elliott, you know, he was in the best shape of his life. CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper, Dalton Schultz. We knew the Dallas Cowboys had a squad along with Michael Gallup, etc. But when you look this year, the Dallas Cowboys have one of the worst offenses in the NFC.”
Acho also claims that the Cowboys‘ offense elevated the franchise from 2014 to 2021. But he no longer wants to talk about it.
