New York Giants 26 YO QB Daniel Jones and star Running back Saquon Barkley have recently secured their future with the Giants, as Jones signed a four-year, $160 million deal and Barkley received the franchise tag. They are both coming off career years and are expected to lead the Giants’ offense in 2023. But before that, they took some time to fulfill the sincere wishes of 50 children on Super Sunday.

Interrupting their intense workout session, the two athletes took the time to bond with the youngsters, engaging in playful activities such as capturing memorable snapshots, throwing passes, and graciously autographing various mementos for the children.

The Giants’ ‘Power Pair’

When it comes to the New York Giants, there is no doubt that the most important pair of players on their team are quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley. They are the engine that drives the Giants’ offense and the difference-makers that can turn a game around. That’s what Jeff Kerr from CBS Sports argued in his recent report, where he ranked Jones and Barkley as the best duo on the Giants.

Kerr pointed out that Jones and Barkley led the Giants to the playoffs last season with their stellar play. Jones set career highs in passing yards, touchdowns, and interceptions. Barkley overcame a torn ACL and rushed for over 1,300 yards and 10 touchdowns. They were the only reliable playmakers on offense.

Even though the Giants have added some weapons to their offense for the upcoming season, such as wide receivers Darren Waller and Parris Campbell, they still rely heavily on Jones and Barkley to lead them to victory. Kerr noted that when Jones and Barkley are both healthy and, on the field, together, the Giants’ offense becomes much more potent and versatile. They are the best duo on the Giants, and they will need to prove it again in 2023 if they want to make another playoff appearance.
