Aaron Rodgers is arguably the most open player in the NFL regarding his politics. He doesn’t hold back on topics that would scare most people who have the kind of limelight that he has. As the 2024 Presidential elections draw closer, the new New York Jets QB has made his choice clear to everyone who is listening. A presidential candidate, on a path to fulfill his dad’s White House dream, has got Rodgers’ continuous support in the cause.
Rodgers wore a Donald Trump inspired t-shirt to practice last year. But it looks like he has changed his mind about who should lead the country 2024 onwards. So who is it that is getting the four-time league MVP’s nod for what can only be anticipated as a high octane clash next year? Surely it would be as gripping as fans believe Rodgers’ time at the MetLife Stadium is going to be.

Aaron Rodgers has already made up his mind on who he wants to send to the White House next year. No, he didn’t say anything on the matter. But his social media activities are a good indicator of who is getting his vote when America chooses its next leader and it is Robert Kennedy Jr.
The Jets QB liked two tweets in a relatively quick succession that indicated his choice. First one was a quote from the candidate himself. “The reason people don’t trust our government today is because our government is no longer trustworthy and the media is no longer trustworthy,” Kennedy Jr said in a video liked by Rodgers.

He also liked a tweet from evolutionary biologist Bret Weinstein which endorses Kennedy Jr for White House. According to Weinstein, it would be a whole new world if Kennedy Jr became the president of the US. But who is Robert Kennedy Jr exactly?

Robert Kennedy Jr comes from the famed Kennedy family that has already given the country a president. Kennedy Jr is the nephew of President John F Kennedy, who replaced Dwight Eisenhower for the top job in 1961. He is the son of Robert ‘Bobby’ Kennedy, who ran for the democratic nomination. But his assassination left that dream unfulfilled.
Now Kennedy Jr., who is an environmental lawyer, is on his way to fulfill his father’s dream. He launched his bid for the Democratic nomination in April and has got the endorsement of the likes of Jack Dorsey and other Silicon Valley elite. And now, he has Aaron Rodgers backing him too.

There is still time before the campaign really kicks off. Maybe if Rodgers can fulfill the promise he made to the Jets fans, he might help Kennedy Jr to carry New Jersey. And who knows, maybe one day the legendary QB might launch his own bid to reach the White House.
