Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs continued their dominance over the AFC West on Sunday. The Chiefs beat the Chargers at the SoFi Stadium. However, it wasn’t the Chiefs sidelines activity that drew the attention of NFL fans.
Pat Mahomes drove the offense for the last minute comeback against Justin Herbert and the Chargers. However, the only driving brother Jackson Mahomes did was driving people crazy with yet another post from the SoFi sidelines.
Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother, Jackson, is not news for NFL fans who are well acquainted with his antiques during ball games. This includes a myriad of embarrassing TikTok videos and even footage of him pouring water on opposing fans from higher stands. Fans didn’t like Jackson’s return and one said, “oh no. He is back on the sidelines posting!”
The 2020 Super Bowl MVP has expressed his embarrassment before with brother Jackson Mahomes and his sideline shenanigans. Last night at the Chargers game, Jackson was seen on the sidelines with their mother. And when the younger Mahomes posted himself on Instagram, fans were quick to point out everything wrong with the photo. Some fans thought he might be rooting for the opposing side. An unhappy chiefs admirer wrote, “Why are you dressed like a chargers fan?”
Jackson didn’t wear Chiefs’ colors to support Patrick Mahomes
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs offense led by TE Travis Kelce spoiled an otherwise impressive performance by Justin Herbert and his LA Chargers offense. Kelce had two touchdowns in the 4th quarter from Pat Mahomes to get the 30-27 win on Sunday night.
Patrick Mahomes’ mother was present on the sidelines to cheer her son to victory along with many Hollywood celebrities like Henry ‘Fonzie’ Winkler. However, while everyone sported Chiefs jerseys in unanimous support, brother Jackson went with his pick for the day.

While Patrick and Jackson’s mother, Randi Mahomes, didn’t mind her younger son’s outfit choice and commented, “love you”, the Chiefs fans didn’t share the same sentiment. One fan wrote, “Where’s your chiefs outfit?” And another one commented, “So you’re cheering for the chargers?”
Fans were not happy that Jackson wasn’t even looking at the camera and instead assumed unusual positions for the picture. “Did you drop something? Weird pic,” one fan wrote while another one faked concern and asked, “what did you drop and did you find it?”
