As the days run down to Odell Beckham Jr coming out of recovery, the so-called race for teams to sign him up is getting pretty heated. Having made his tours of various potential teams across the NFL, speculations are now high on where OBJ might choose to land. And he seems to enjoy the banter too!

The episode starts when ESPN’s Marcus Spears takes to Twitter and asks OBJ (as a joke) to join the Dallas Cowboys. The two then go back and forth, culminating with Beckham asking spears to recommend 5 teams apart from the Cowboys. Spears gives his choice of teams, and surprisingly, Beckham seems to agree with him. Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens are all tremendous destinations for the receiver to land at, especially with the talented QBs that run the offense in those teams.

This sparked a frenzy in the NFL community, with fans desperately pleading with the Super Bowl winner to sign with them. It seems OBJ has his pick of stellar QBs to choose from. Numerous players have already spoken out about wanting to play with OBJ, including Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady.
But fans don’t care about past relationships or present rivalries. They want the prize jewel in their crown. OBJ with even a decent QB could prove to be a force to reckon with. But it seems, the calls from Kansas City drown all others in this chase for OBJ.

Odell Beckham Jr shakes up the NFL community as fans want him on their teams
OBJ is probably the hottest property in the free agency market right now. The former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver was a propelling force towards the Rams’ Super Bowl victory. Unfortunately, he was injured in the Super Bowl game, tearing his ACL. His injury and the uncertain future meant no team would pick him, as his contract with the Rams expired. But as his recovery nears completion, teams will definitely want to sign the prolific receiver.

OBJ‘s NFL career started when the New York Giants picked him 12th overall in the 2014 NFL draft. In 2016, OBJ sets an NFL record by becoming the fastest player to reach 200 career receptions and 4000 career yards. This is also his first and only ever season with 100 receptions, finishing his previous 2 seasons with 91 and 96 receptions, respectively.
After 5 years with the Giants, he was traded to the Cleveland Browns, where he spent another 2 years. In his third year, problems resulted in the Browns waiving Beckham’s contract. But just a week later, he found a new home with the Rams. He played just 8 regular season games for them but managed to rack up 27/48 for 305 yards, and 5 touchdowns.
