With the tampering period ending and the legal free agency starting in a few hours, Aaron Rodgers has presented New York Jets with a few conditions if they want to secure him ahead of the 2023 NFL season. Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the conditions. And OBJ has already started responding to the reports on Twitter.

The coveted free-agent wide receiver has been in the market since last year, after injuring his knee in the Super Bowl LVI clash against the Cincinnati Bengals. He got the ring later, but he still hasn’t found his next team. OBJ and Rodgers’ friendship is no secret, and a team-up looks possible.

According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, A-Rod’s wish list “includes Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, Marcedes Lewis, and Odell Beckham Jr.” And this isn’t the first time Rodgers has demanded his ‘glue guys’ be with him.

New York Jets have already reportedly agreed to a four-year $44 million deal with Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard. And they have also made contact regarding the remaining two Green Bay Packers. OBJ got the message loud and clear. A-Rod needs him. And when a fan asked for OBJ’s confirmation, he replied with a cryptic emoji message.

And this isn’t even the first time OBJ has been linked with a move to the Jets.

Odell Beckham Jr. to Jets is a very real scenario based on Twitter to-and-fro

The former Los Angeles Rams wideout has recovered from his torn ACL in the 2022 title game, as was evident from his recent 13-day workout at Arizona State. And the Jets had their representatives there, tracking OBJ’s progress.

However, that wasn’t the biggest tell. It was ‘black magic’ connoisseur and New York Jets cornerback, Sauce Gardner.

Sauce also teamed up with teammates Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall to convince Rodgers to quarterback the Jets next season. And it all depends on whether A-Rod is convinced about New York, or hanging it up altogether.
