Odell Beckham Jr. has finally achieved Super Bowl success in the NFL. Fans, coaches, and OBJ himself believed that he was destined for great things, and great things he did indeed. The former LSU wide receiver put on a clinic in the first half. His insane catch for the touchdown is going to be watched over and over again by fans as Super Bowl history.
And Beckham Jr. got the ring as well. Yet, the Super Bowl LVI Experience was not entirely trouble-free for the talented wide receiver. Rather it was a bittersweet experience as the former New York Giants WR was injured during the second quarter. His knee got messed up and he got helped off the field. It was devastating to watch.

Although, the birth of his first child and the Super Bowl win, combined to distract OBJ from the ill-fated turn of events for him professionally.
What if the injury never took place? He had 52 yards with a touchdown when the injury occurred. A chance to play the whole game could’ve meant a Super Bowl MVP for the WR. Furthermore, a Super Bowl MVP plus an injury-free off-season would’ve meant a substantial role for OBJ in the Rams roster next year.
Odell Beckham Jr. is un-distracted now
It seem the euphoria subsided and reality kicked in for OBJ. He tweeted that this injury was a tough one for him and reached out to the higher authorities as one does in such a distressful situation.
But God, 😭😭did it realllly have to go down this way…? this one’s tough!
