The Super Bowl-winning quarterback Matthew Stafford is still struggling to become a household name. Even after his amazing performance in the big game, Stafford is still not in the limelight. Odell Beckham Jr would disagree with most people when it comes to his QB. 

The wide receiver praised the Rams quarterback in his recent tweet. Beckham believes that the fans don’t show Stafford the respect and appreciation he deserves. It was his amazing no-look passing that got Los Angeles the Super Bowl this past season. Matt Stafford is the name many people are still sleeping on.

Odell Beckham Jr is a Matthew Stafford fan

Odell Beckham Jr joined the Los Angeles Rams in the middle of the last season. After a forgettable run with the Cleveland Browns, the WR needed a place to resurrect his career. Beckham found a new home in California. With the Rams, the receiver reminded everyone of his brilliant football plays. These quick snaps and touchdowns got OBJ his first-ever Super Bowl.

Beckham was not alone on this journey, however. Matthew Stafford was a core element in the Super Bowl-winning Rams squad. The quarterback has played amazing football all throughout the season as well. Beckham is one of his prime targets. And Stafford does not really miss his target. The duo quickly adapted to each other’s game and became a nightmare for the opponents. 

OBJ recently tweeted in support of the Rams quarterback. The 29-year-old receiver wrote, “Stafford is the real deal.” He adds, ” I don’t think much gets talked about that but being there and seein this Shxt up close!” For Beckham, Stafford is the real deal, no caps.

OBJ’s uncertain future with the Rams

The Super Bowl game was cut short for Odell Beckham Jr. He did score a touchdown. But the WR was taken off the field due to an ACL injury. His season had a storybook ending, but OBJ wanted to contribute more to the win.

While Matthew Stafford is cheering LeBron James from courtside, Beckham is worried about his future. The Rams star wide receiver is headed to free agency. The injury has only made things worse for him. Many reports have indicated that Beckham might sign a short-term deal with the Rams. He would love to stay in Los Angeles.
