The first Super Bowl experience of Odell Beckham Jr. was not all good. Though he scored a touchdown and won the title, he missed most of the action due to his unfortunate knee injury in the first half of the game. A game OBJ was waiting for his whole life.

However, more than a week later, good news floods the Beckham family. The Rams superstar receiver and Super Bowl champion Odell Beckham Jr. along with his girlfriend Lauren Wood welcomed their newborn son in the world of champions. The wideout took to Instagram to say that it was the “biggest blessing” of his life.

He revealed that his bundle of joy arrived on earth on the 17th of February and he was also very thankful to his better half, Lauren for giving him the gift of his life. OBJ also mentioned that they decided to name their son Zydn.

“Zydn was born n at that moment I knew my life changed for the better,” the caption read. “Lauren Wood, u changed my life forever and delivered the most beautiful gift of all… EFFORTLESSLY! Ur strength throughout this gives me the courage to keep goin because i now kno with u by my side and holding it down for me, I can get thru anything. I love u so much. And so the journey continues.”

OBJ had a successful knee surgery

Furthermore, the 29-year-old also revealed that his knee surgery was a success. He mentioned how the stars were all aligned on 2-22-22 and that “IT WAS ALL WRITTEN.” The receiver also stated how his journey had come to an end but had his championship has opened new doors for him. And now he will start his new season on the right foot.

Although it was not clear if he was talking about his journey with the Rams since he is set to be a free agent by mid-March and his ailment might be a hurdle for him to cross this offseason. However, his successful surgery is the first step towards success.
