The LA Rams WR is making headlines once again. As the offseason is about to end with the preseason games starting soon, Odell Beckham Jr.’s trade has become a significant talking point. In a recent podcast, Charles Robinson links the WR and the Dallas Cowboys. Therefore, sparking the infamous rumors that he might sign with them in free agency.

Further, OBJ may pair up with Dak Prescott and Trevon Diggs in their attempt to win the Super Bowl in the NFL 2022 season. However, if Michael Gallup returns by September, Odell might not be required by the Cowboys after all. It is important to note that Odell is a free agent and in rehab for an injury; hence, anything is possible till the season kick starts.

Odell’s family and friends are all based out of Dallas, Texas. Dallas Cowboys were always the first choice for them, being their home team. Now, with the news of his potential signing with the Cowboys making a whirlwind, the WR’s family would be ecstatic.

In the Super Bowl, Odell tore his ACL, which ruled him out of the remaining match. Even though the Rams won the Super Bowl LVI, he would have wanted to be on the field while they celebrated. Since he sustained the injury, he is undergoing treatment to deem him fit for the 2022 season.

Jerry Jones’ eagerness to sign Odell Beckham Jr.

The Cowboys have $20 Million remaining in their cap space and a significant amount of players left in free agency. Consequently, Jerry Jones would want to get Odell on the team to create a strong offense lineup along with Dak Prescott and Michael Gallup if he gets fit.

However, Jones is not the only person who wants to get OBJ on his team. The Rams HC Sean McVay expressed his desire to re-sign the WR after he played a major in helping the Rams win the Super Bowl. In an interview, he said, “Oh, of course, I really want Odell back on our team.”
