Is Antonio Brown a master trickster? It seems the star WR would never back down from doing whatever it takes, within the bounds of the game, to make his team win. One such claim by the former Bengals player Adam Jones hints at a trick that the WR played in 2016.
Talking about the wildcard game between the Steelers and Bengals, Jones revealed Brown had pulled off a trick. This trick triggered the LB Burfict for penalization. Further, the Bengals received a 15-yard penalty after Jones contacted Steelers linebackers coach Joey Porter.

Jones believed that the tackle did not hurt the former Steelers‘ WR, and he was faking it to get Burfict penalized. Even though Brown did not confirm or react to this claim, he suffered a concussion post the tackle. Moreover, the Pittsburgh radio host believed the hit changed the former Steelers WR forever.
The former Bengals linebacker also claimed that Brown winked at him as he was being taken off the field. He said, “I think he needs a Grammy for that one.” Conversely, the administration suspended Burfict for three games. Moreover, he had to forfeit $500,000 in salary for a headshot on defenseless wide receiver Antonio Brown.
What happened between Burfict and Antonio Brown that led Adam Jones to think the latter of faking his injury?
In the game, Vontaze Burfict attempted to sack Brown as he received the ball for a potential touchdown. This attempt led to a head injury and, later, a concussion. According to many believers, it changed the WR’s life forever. However, Adam Jones had his theory and demanded that everyone re-watch the match to get the story straight.
On The Dan Patrick Show, he said, “Nah, Antonio Brown was not hurt. I know he was faking it. Go back and look at the play. If you go back in slow motion, you tell me Vontaze hit him in the head, or if his shoulder pads barely touched him.”

Conversely, the NFL board has repeatedly suspended Burfict for his violent gameplay. Moreover, there is no merit to his claim that Brown was playing a trick, but he stands his ground. What do you think?
