Steelers President Art Rooney II said, “We are excited to partner with Acrisure for the naming rights to our stadium. Acrisure provided us with an opportunity to ensure our stadium continues to be a valuable asset for our fans as well as keep up with the market value of NFL stadiums. We are very appreciative to partner with Greg Williams and his company, and we look forward to a long, beneficial relationship for years to come.”
The name of the Steelers’ home ground is now Acrisure Stadium, named after an insurance company based in Michigan. The financial terms of the 15-year deal of the stadium are not known, but the new name is going to stick with the stadium for more than a decade.

It didn’t have to be Heinz anymore, that’s not why we’re mad. It’s the fact that a Michigan based company no one knows or cares about at all is the rights holder. THAT is what sucks. Literally could’ve been and should’ve been anything else.

I’m still calling it Heinz as a Bills fan

— Kevin (@BissySitch) July 11, 2022
Still Heinz Field to us
— Steelers Nation Elite (@SNEliteOfficial) July 11, 2022
Nope. It's still Heinz Field. Idc if they paid a fortune for the rights. I'm never calling it anything else.

But at least Heinz Catsup was a Pittsburgh company. Acrisure isn’t even in Pennsylvania!

Should have been Iron City Stadium. Would have been so easy, take down the Heinz bottles and replace them with Iron City bottles but no

Names that would’ve been better than Acrisure Stadium:
Rooney Field
Steelers Stadium
UPMC Field
Three Rivers Field
Art Rooney Memorial Field
Daniel M. Rooney Memorial Field
Hines Field
Primanti. Bros. Field

Many fans are struggling to pronounce the name right while some say it will always remain Heinz Field for them. They might no accept it like the Broncos fans have adopted ‘Empower Field’ at Mile High.
Pittsburgh has always associated itself with local brands. Heinz Field, the Pirates’ PNC Park, and the Penguins’ PPG Paints Arena were all named after local businesses. But, this year the Steelers went ahead with a Michigan-based insurance company which is surprising to many.
