Amidst the intense training sessions as the QB plans to bounce back from a shellacking season following the hyped trade worth $245 million to the franchise, Wilson also made time for a well-deserved break. He went on trips and attended various events with his family. He generously gave away sneak peeks from the events on his social media, offering a glimpse into his downtime.

Lately, the QB was sighted at the wedding of one of his former teammates and he took to his social media to send his heartwarming wishes on his friend’s big day.

As the Seattle wide receiver Tyler Lockett celebrates his milestone moment, the QB took to his Instagram story to show his love and support. ‘Congrats King’, Nothing but Love”, Wilson captioned the snap of himself posing with the groom. In another picture shared, he captioned ”May Your Marriage be Anointed Forever”.

The star wideout is tying the knot with his girlfriend Lauren Jackson after being together for nearly 5 years. The duo got engaged in September 2022. Lockett shared a carousel of pictures from the day on his Instagram, that captured the magical moment? when he kneeled in front of a huge illuminated sign that read ”Will you marry me?”

“It took us a while for our souls to find each other. but I’m glad I found my soul mate! I love you all baby,”, Lockett posted in a previous instance reflecting on their journey.

What’s ahead for the groom on the field

While Wilson is about to face a crucial season where he has to fight an uphill battle to make up for the disappointing last season, Lockett also feels that his upcoming season is nothing short of a battle.

“I think the biggest thing is even though you’ve been here a while and you’re a vet, you’re also fighting old age. You’re fighting things that your body used to do normally and now you’ve got to kind of get it going…So it’s always going to be a battle but it’s always about finding different ways to overcome it.”
