Slowly but steadily, he rose to what has now become the epitomic example of what a quarterback should be. However, the QB is not the only one who has been exemplary in his sport. It seems like the genes of athletic greatness run in the family. As she finishes another year of college and college sports, Brady’s niece inspires her 100,000 followers with the story of her softball journey.

Maya Brady has been a brilliant softball player for the UCLA Bruins. With the Bruins’ season coming to an end, Maya took to Instagram to share a beautiful message that highlighted the roller coaster ride of her most recent season.

Maya has been part of the Bruins since 2020 and the youngster hasn’t looked back. She has been part of the UCLA softball system and has gone on to break multiple records since then. At the start of her 2023 season, she had made a switch from her usual position at utility to playing infielder for this season. She even spoke about it in her post’s caption and mentioned how it was a tough transition.

While speaking about the switch to a different role she said, “Taking on a position I hadn’t played since high school and being a leader in this program was not the easy thing, but was the necessary thing for me to grow.” And grow she did. Along with her brilliant efforts for the team, the Bruins were able to carve out an amazing record of 52 wins and only 7 losses. Sadly for them, the Bruins’ final loss came in the NCAA regionals against Liberty University. effectively ending their season.

While the season for the Bruins ended, Maya had nothing but kind words for her team. In fact, as her post went viral, there were multiple comments, from her teammates, fans, as well as one special family member.

In her ode to her teammates as well as to her own journey, Maya spoke about how she had been underestimated at the beginning of the season. The young softball player proudly showcased her achievement of climbing the charts from being ranked 31st to being ranked 3rd. As she highlighted her journey, fans responded. A lot of fans were impressed with Maya’s journey until now. They took to the Instagram comments to speak about it and congratulate her. Among these was her proud uncle, Tom Brady. He took to the comments to shower her with love and said, “We love you angel, you are AMAZING.”

Another fan spoke about how Maya is supremely inspiring and said, “My inspiration.”

There were comments from her teammates as well. One of them said, “So proud of you. I can’t wait to see what you do next year.”
