TB12 is running his 23rd season but is still strong. But is the NFL GOAT still scared of the injury scare? The QB pondered about it on his weekly podcast.

Tom Brady discussed the Buccaneers’ Week 4 loss and Hurricane Ian’s impact in Florida on the weekly Let’s Go! Podcast. Jim Gray then asked the quarterback if the knee injury and concussion scare had a spot in his mind.

 

Tom Brady mentioned, “I think nobody knows what the future looks like in general too. So I mean you could play that game for your whole life. What’s my view? I know my knees are gonna look great! I know my arms gonna look great! I know my hips are gonna look great! Just I know what I’ve done.

I’ve no amount of time that I’ve put into you know trying to lake care of myself, so you know in terms of you know arthritis and you know long-term issues chronic issues you know. Hopefully, you can prevent as many as possible. But at the same time you have to have some diligence put into that you have to allocate time to prevention.”

Tom Brady had some troubles with his knee in the past. He had an ACL tear in 2008 and missed the rest of the season. In 2021, the QB underwent MCL surgery to address the Grade three tear sustained in 2019. But he looks prepared with his stringent regimen to tackle it.

Tom Brady talked about the NFL’s concussion conundrum

Following Tua Tagovailoa’s frightening injury, the NFL is under fire for its concussion protocols. As the matter heated, Tom Brady shared his perspective on the ongoing feud on his Sirius XM Podcast. The QB called concussions are a normal part of playing professional sports like football or professional wrestling. He believes that rather than aiming to eliminate the medical problem, the league should help educate its athletes on the consequences of a concussion.

All in all, the Buccaneers quarterback would like to see some better practices to prevent and also recover from concussions. The Tagovailoa incident is now under an NFLPA investigation. They sacked a neurotrauma doctor linked with the QB’s trauma assessment. It remains to be seen if they make any further steps.
