Against the Baltimore Ravens, Joe Burrow threw an astonishing 525 yards – the fourth-most in NFL history. However, his final 52 yards came in his final throw when the Bengals were leading by more than 20 points. Post-match, Ravens coach Harbaugh expressed his disappointment to Burrow’s conduct but the star QB paid no heed to the controversy.

“This is the NFL,” Burrow told PFT. “This isn’t peewee, this isn’t high school where you go out and run up the score. You play until the final whistle. I don’t care what the score is. We’ve been in spots where teams go out and do that to us. They did it to us last year. No sympathy from me.”

Bengals QB Joe Burrow had a sensational night against the Ravens. Not only did he throw for absurdly 525 yards, but he also had four touchdowns to his name. After a monumental night, the star Bengals QB was quipped if Ravens’ defensive coordinator’s pre-match comment that Burrow is not up to Rodgers/Adams’ level motivated him.

Responding to the question, the QB acknowledged that it was a useless comment and hinted that it served as fuel to cover 525 yards. “I didn’t think it was a necessary comment,” Burrow said. ”I wouldn’t say I was offended by it. I’m in year two, who knows what’s going to happen down the road, but I didn’t think it was a necessary comment.”
