As one of the most fiercely competitive sports leagues, the NFL and its players always seek any possible edge. Accessories like sticky gloves and lightweight cleats serve as an advantage. However, the league established new regulations to ensure a level playing field. One such accessory is the football helmet visor, commonly used during NFL practices.

But in a match? It is undoubtedly unique, and Bengals QB Joe Burrow knows it. After being recently injured, the star quarterback was seen on the “Pardon My Take” podcast, unveiling a ‘visor’ secret that no Superbowl quarterback has ever done.

The last few days have been hard on the Cincinnati Bengals, as their star QB Joe B suffered a non-contact calf injury. Though the good news on #QB1 made its way over the weekend, as fans saw Burrow at the practice yesterday with a sleeve on the injured calf and walking without a limp! With preseason kickoffs so close, this certainly is a huge relief. After the #QB1 being back slowly on the field, he also recently appeared with the Big Cat & PFT Commenter on ‘Pardon My Take’.

As the three discussed Joe B’s achievements and journey in the podcast, a particular fashion statement arose that even City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes wouldn’t do. In the discussion, Joe B said, “I played uh the end first nobody knew who’s that guy what about the visor we are rocking the visor I don’t know I always do like the different colored visor for camp and practice sometimes I did a clear visor in college for a little bit um I don’t know no Super Bowl quarterback has ever won a visor.”

The visors pave the way from fear to elevate performance. The chance of being tackled or getting poked in the eye decreases, which can boost a player’s confidence and mental strength. It leads to an improvement in their performance on the field and makes us wonder which other players in the league do sport the visors.
