It was a complete domination by the Cowboys when they met Tom Brady and the team during the Wild Card game a few days ago. Not only did they script history by breaking their back-to-back losing streak, but also kicked Buccaneers out of the playoffs. Certainly, Brady couldn’t digest this fact and mentioned how things changed after this loss.
When the Seven-time Super Bowl Champion returned last year denouncing his retirement, fans expected him to run for another title this season. His unfinished remark clearly pointed towards an eighth title; however, it turned out to be heartbreak. And now Brady seems to have lost the motivation.

Every week, the veteran appears for an exclusive podcast with his long-time friend Jim Gray. They discuss various issues on & off the field, with Brady giving his expert advice on such matters. As one could expect, his playoff game happened to be a hot subject.
The quarterback claimed the defeat happens to be a hard pill to swallow. He wasn’t expecting a setback, and after last week things have changed in his life. He no longer needs to follow the routine or get back on the field to prepare.
“When you qualify for the playoffs, it’s great, but it’s different and all of a sudden you lose, and you’re no longer preparing for a game.” Brady said on the show.
“No one’s going to work, no one needs to prepare for anything. There’s no reason to get up at 4:45 anymore. And you know, there’s no reason to do a lot of those things that we were conditioned to do, to watch 14 games on a flight home and on a Monday to try to prepare for Tuesday.”
