A recent 25-second clip, shared by ‘Jets Videos,’ has gone viral. In the press conference, a reporter asked Rodgers about the emotions he expects on Monday night for his debut with the Jets, and his response was unexpected. He humorously remarked (with a mild smile on his face), “A lot of tears, lot of tears, lot of sobbing probably.” QB expressed, he feels good, excited, and hoping to be there with the crowd early.

Rodgers had previously described the atmosphere at MetLife Stadium as “electric” as the Jets embark on a season with high expectations. Despite his witty remarks, it’s clear that Rodgers is serious about making his mark with the team. Looking ahead to the regular season, Rodgers’ premiere performance with the Jets is scheduled for Monday against Josh Allen’s Bills.

New NFL season, everybody is zero

Rodgers made his debut for the Jets during the preseason finale against the Giants on August 26, 2023. His performance was nothing short of impressive, completing 5-of-8 passes for 47 yards, including a 14-yard touchdown pass to Garrett Wilson.
