Jackson has put a dent in the post-Super Bowl championship celebratory mood of the Mahomes household. The younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is in major trouble after coming under investigation for sexual assault. However, some don’t want Patrick’s name to be involved.
F0x Sports Anchor Harold Kuntz is one of them, who thinks Jackson should be the one accountable for his own actions. And he thinks media outlets should start referring to him as Jackson and not the brother of Patrick Mahomes.

The social media personality had assault charges levied against him after an incident in Overland Park, Kansas, on February 25 this year, where Jackson allegedly kissed Aspen Vaughn, the 40-year-old owner of Aspens Restaurant and Lounge, forcibly, and also shoved a 19-year-old server multiple times. And there is surveillance footage from the premises to corroborate Aspen’s accusations.
“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere. Like you’re a child and he was trying to say we should be a power couple, and I’m like, clearly you’re out of your mind right now,” Vaughn told the Kansas City Star in an interview. And after these accusations, Kuntz strictly believes Jackson should not hide under Patrick’s wings. “Now that there’s confirmation of an investigation, just say Jackson Mahomes. His problems are on him and his actions are on him. No need for “the brother of,” he tweeted.

So who supports Jackson? Who gives him field passes to the games? Patrick does. You reap what you sew.

However, some fans think it’s news only because he is the brother of the Chiefs’ 2x Super Bowl MVP. With the amount of piggybacking Jackson does on Patrick’s success, some fans think the brother angle does justice. If you’re there during the good times, why leave the bad ones out, some fans echoed.
Patrick Mahomes hasn’t said anything about this incident
The Mahomes family hasn’t made a statement about the allegations against Jackson. However, Jackson’s lawyer has released one, according to Star. “Jackson has done nothing wrong. Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser, including the statements of several witnesses,” attorney Brandan Davies said.

Being a regular at Aspens’ and knowing his way around owing to his friendship with Aspen’s step-daughter, Jackson took his entourage into prohibited areas of the restaurant. And then the 22-year-old celebrity figure shoved a server and denied him entry into one of the staff rooms. And later on, the 19-year-old staff even reported smelling marijuana from the room after the entourage left.
