In a recent podcast episode, McAfee and his co-hosts, including former Green Bay Packers player A.J. Hawk, delved into a thrilling yet dangerous incident that has been occurring in the US. They discussed a renowned submarine tube controlled by a video game controller, which allows individuals to explore uncharted depths of the ocean. McAfee humorously described the compact size of the tube, likening it to a minivan with no windows and a single small screen.

Additionally, McAfee shared a comical experience of receiving an email offering him $250,000 to go to space, highlighting the absurdity of such a risky venture. He emphasized the lack of guarantees, both in terms of safety and a definite date for the trip. He said, “It was no guarantee we’ll make it out alive. There’s no guarantee of coming back.” He said he obviously opted out of the weird scam. McAfee also cautioned people against falling into such traps, using the phrase “you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes” to underscore the potential loss of money and even lives. Instances of fraudulent scams and their unfortunate victims are not limited to McAfee alone; numerous individuals have fallen prey to such deceitful schemes.
