Noah Spence, the badass defensive end of the Buccaneers, rolled into training camp in the summer of 2016. He was a ripped 228 pounds, lighter than OJ Howard and Mike Evans, the two big dudes on the team. But now, Sports Centre and ESPN just dropped a throwback on how Spence approached the 2018 season with a whole new diet game plan. This ex-Bucs DE began consuming 9 to 10 meals daily to become an unstoppable force on the field.

As a result, he astonishingly gained 35 pounds in pursuit of becoming a versatile player. His primary objective, though? In an interview with ESPN, he shared, “I kind of just started playing with it [in the offseason] to see what works. I felt as if I just don’t stop eating or drinking. I won’t lose Weight.” As the 2018 season ended, the results were positive, and his fellow mates couldn’t help but rave about his performance.

Even Bucs legend Simeon Rice appreciated Noah saying, “He reminds me very much of myself. He has the talent. He has the capabilities. He has to allow it to shine now – don’t hide it from the world. Be what you are capable of being, do what you are capable of doing. It’s interesting to see because I’m like watching him after practice and they’re working. I’m like, ‘Yo, this kid wants to be special. This kid is going to be special.’ If you search for it long enough, you will find it.”

He played for the Buccaneers until the 2018 season, after which he spent time with the Washington Commanders and New Orleans Saints during the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
