The former Buccaneers HC Bruce Arians retired from his coaching role after Tom Brady’s comeback. Analysts speculate that Bruce’s stint at the front office has more to do with coaching than office antics. In a surprise statement, he said, “I’d still be coaching if Tom Brady stayed retired.”

Moreover, the HC plans to remain close to his former coaching stint. Currently, he will serve as the senior advisor to the general manager. He told the Tampa Bay Times, “I’m on the field, I’m coaching. I’m going to go to practice and see the little things.”

Additionally, Bruce’s decision to retire was propelled by Tom Brady’s un-retirement and Todd Bowles’ excellent chance to have a second shot at coaching. Although it appears like the former Bucs HC is not going anyway far from his previous successful job.
NFL analysts and fans shocked by post-retirement plans of Bruce Arians
In a conversation on Undisputed with Skip and Shannon, the NFL analysts commented on this strange relationship between the Buccaneers and Bruce Arians. Shannon Sharpe said, “This is a very odd, strange relationship here. If you still wanted to handle coaching, why did you step down?”

Arians is still expected to handle the coaching for the Bucs, even though Todd Bowles is joining them as a head coach. Further, Skip Bayless made a statement about Brady saying, “Tom Brady is now the victim of alter ego of Tom Brady.” He made this statement referring to the rift rumors between Brady and Arians that surfaced during the last NFL season.

After all, the NFL remains shocked after this surprise drop by Bruce Arians. With him resuming his stint as a senior advisor and potentially in the coaching staff; fans will be excited to see the new Bucs with altered roles of their former HC.
