In a much-anticipated announcement, Patrick Mahomes announced a new colorway for his shoe in collaboration with Adidas. The ‘Mahomes 1 Impact FLX ‘Home” is the latest addition to his association with the sports brand. As with everything Mahomes does, this too caught the eye of fans as they expressed their thoughts on the new shoe.

The shoe followed the last drop Mahomes did, in association with Marvel, where they dropped a shoe with Mahomes for promotions of Black Panther. After creating an uproar in the sneaker industry, the “Home” is next to take charge.

Mahomes’ new shoe sports the famous university red color. This colorway also represents the famous red of the Kansas City Chiefs. Mahomes’ faithful fans took to his post on Twitter to weigh in on this new release.

A lot of users showcased how they were in anticipation of this release.

Mahomes also had some party poopers, as some fans didn’t hold back in giving honest opinions. 

After all, it’s hard to please the entire community. However, Mahomes will not care much about the slack on the shoe when he will receive that cheque from Adidas.

The Mahomes-Adidas Partnership

This line of shoes is Mahomes’ first signature sneaker collection and only a select few footballers have ever had their own signature sneaker line. These training-focused shoes are Adidas’ vision for the go-to training shoe for everyone beyond the football fan community. With Mahomes as the face, they definitely have the right guy to get their job done. The engineering behind the shoe makes it versatile and allows it to even be a basketball training shoe.

The shoe retails at $140 and has had five colorways in its year-long existence. Their partnership doesn’t stop at the shoes. He also has an apparel collection with Adidas, which is equally popular. Mahomes is deemed the next big thing in the NFL and his performance for the Chiefs shows just why.
