Recently, the Niners defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw was engaged in a heated verbal exchange with the Sports Illustrated reporter Grant Cohn. He covers for the San Francisco 49ers and represents himself as quality control for the organization. This incident raged to such an extent that Kinlaw couldn’t control his emotions and became violent over an alleged issue that hampered his public identity.

Cohn uploaded two videos on Tuesday, wherein he narrated the incident through one of them. It seemed the DT wasn’t happy with the way he got projected and joined the reporter for a five-minute chat on his YouTube channel. Initially, it felt like Kinlaw was trying to clear the facts, but in the latter part, things got intense.
The 24-year-old was upset and went on to rage his emotions over Cohn. “Stop talking about people like people don’t have families,” Kinlaw said.
The Niners sidelined the defensive tackle during the 2021 season after he incurred a serious knee injury in October. He underwent surgery, keeping him out of the camp for an entire season.

However, he was successful in registering eight tackles and a quarterback hit through four games that year. Kinlaw was selected by the Niners in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft.
In his first two seasons, Kinlaw played for an overall 18 games and recorded 41 tackles and 1.5 sacks. However, the way in which Cohn criticized him is speculated as to the potential reason for Kinlaw’s reactions against him.
Fans react to the current scenario at the San Francisco 49ers
Interestingly, this was not the first time Cohn was under the radar and had faced the heat of players outside the field. A few years ago, in 2012, Cohn was called out by the Offensive tackle Anthony Davis for harshly criticizing him. The reporter has been covering for the Niners since 2011. His father, Lowell, also played a similar role for decades in his career.
Even though Cohn attracts a huge fan base for his reporting style and on-the-point spirited criticisms, this time, the situation seems a bit gloomy for him. The fans openly weighed on both sides and reacted to the situation. A Twitter user took Kinlaw’s side and said why he despised the reporter.
Yeah, I’m taking Kinlaw’s side on this one. That didn’t happen out of thin air. This has been building for a while, and it’s not the first time Grant has started beefing with a player. He’s unprofessional.

However, another user lashed at Kinlaw for his reactions.
Javon Kinlaw is a 200+ pound athlete acting like a child and harassing a man who can't do anything back, absolutely pathetic behavior, and it's a shame he's on the 49ers.

While this user has a bit of a special advice for Kinlaw.
My advice to Javon Kinlaw would be to listen to some Daniel Kelly tracks to calm yourself down.

Brad was concerned about Kinlaw and made his point on the matter.
You never want to see a situation go down like that
Kinlaw's comments were extreme but they could have been coming from a place of justification from his perspective
He said "You're analyzing people like they are not human" meaning he feels dehumanized
